In this section you can find our parent handbooks which are updated annually to reflect changes in tuition fees and programming. The parent handbooks contain important information about Rowan Tree Children’s School’s policies and procedures. In the program handbooks you will also find the teacher contact information and the link to the Seesaw Learning Journal for your child’s class.

Daily Health Screening

As part of Rowan Tree Children’s School COVID 19 policy, families are encouraged to complete a Daily Health Screening and submit the form below for every day that their child(ren) attend any of the RTCS programs. Let’s work together to keep our communities and families safe and healthy!

A non-profit charitable organization, our mission is to inspire and empower environmentally healthy and sustainable action. We offer impactful hands-on environmental education programs, lead inspiring projects that showcase the potential for green, healthy, and active neighbourhoods, and coordinate events and campaigns that enable collaborative action and civic participation. GreenUP offers a large number inspiring programs throughout the year.

  • Rudolf Steiner College Canada

    The Rudolf Steiner College Canada (RSCC) offers full time and part time Waldorf Teacher Education programs which are accredited by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. RSCC also offers Foundation Studies in Anthroposophy programs both in-person and through distance learning. Since September 2020, RSCC is a recognized Private Career College in the Province of Ontario, in Canada. The RSCC was formerly known as RSCT, Rudolf Steiner Centre Toronto.

  • Youth Leadership in Sustainability

    Youth Leadership in Sustainability is an innovative 1-semester program that will prepare grade 11 and 12 students for leadership roles in sustainability initiatives at the local and global levels.

    YLS is Kawartha Pine Ridge DSB program in partnership with Trent University, the Kawartha World Issues Centre (KWIC) and Fleming College.

    Our classroom is on Trent University campus and at PCVS, and the program will take us into the community, the forests and the region!

  • TRACKS

    TRACKS (TRent Aboriginal Cultural Knowledge and Science) is an educational program based on Michi Saagiig Anishnaabeg territory. We are hosted by Trent University within the Indigenous Environmental Studies and Sciences Program (IESS), and operates in partnership with founding partner organization Kawartha World Issues Centre and the First Peoples House of Learning. TRACKS consists of two distinct and connected programs: Outreach & Education and Oshkwazin Indigenous Youth Leadership.
